Hayride History

The Hill Country Hayride was originally brought to the airwaves by Bill Conner, an avid fan of indie music. Bill brought his passion to the people from the KNBT studio located in New Braunfels, Texas. For five years, Bill sought out the best in rockabilly, country, honky-tonk, americana and roots rock and gave recognition and airplay to artists that few other stations would. I loved the show - he was the first DJ to play my band. Then, he passed the torch to Libbi Bosworth, a well known Texas musician. It was her goal to continue the hunt for great indie music in all styles with an emphasis on twang - it was sad to see it go. I'm honored to be asked to start it back up.
